Full Size SD adapter for N810 owners with Mugen extended battery or some other application that do not need the metal cover
| By installing the full size SD adapter in the N810 you will open up yourself to the ability to use many class 6 full size SD cards on the market. Another benefit is you will be able to use cards that are 16GB or more and at a cheaper price than micro SD and not yet available in mini SD. Another benefit is the elimination of the mini to Micro adapters which have proven to be problematic. This adapter on this page if only for N810 owners who have purchased the Mugen extended battery. I am not saying to buy the MUGEN extended battery or not to buy it. But if you have it then the cover that comes with the battery makes this possible. Available soon will be a version that comes with a thinner metal cover available in several colors. The metal cover will be 4.97mm thick. The MUGEN cover is 7.4mm thick and the battery adds weight to the tablet. |
We are not affiliated with Nokia or the makers of the MUGEN extended battery in any way. We are also not aware if this will avoid the warranty of either product. The Mugen battery cover will need to be modified so this may prevent them from honoring any warranty. Do not purchase this product if you do not want to install it by cutting the 2 cross ribs on the inside of the mugen plastic cover. You should be sure the battery is ok before purchasing this kit. The existing screw in the N810 on one side will also have to be removed and the supplied one installed through the hole in the adapter kit first then into the place where the old screw was. Installing this screw without going through the adapter first may cause a short in the tablet. We are not sure what will happen if you do this since we have never tried it. Also the original screw will have to be reinstalled in the N810 if it goes out for warranty repair. Do not purchase this kit if you do not agree to be responsible for what may happen if you install this kit improperly . Follow the instruction carefully. I have used it for more than 45 days with no problems. All adapters are tested in the N810 tablet and several computers before shipping |
This is the adapter installed next to the OEM battery for the tablet. It is higher than the battery that comes with the tablet. This is the reason you must have the extended battery cover that comes with the Mugen extended 3600mAh battery. **No memory cards are included **

This is the plastic Mugen cover that you must have to use this product. Or if you have another cover with a clearance of 4.3mm or more you can also us it.
This adapter should also work with any product that supports a Mini SD. I have tested it in several other products and they all work as the should.
The Mugen plastic cover above that comes with extended battery is not sold by us and is not included.
